Sunil Grover and Kapil Sharma have been working together for the last 12 years and have seen a lot of ups and downs in their professional life. Grover left the show twice- Once in 2013 and then in 2017 for over eight years. He came back when the show shifted to Netflix.
And in an interview with Lallantop Cinema, former star of the show and veteran actress Upasana Singh revealed something about the Bharat and _Gabbar Is Back_ actor. She said, “When Kapil’s show started, Sunil Grover was not well. I asked him what happened, and he shared that he was hospitalised because of depression. He didn’t have much work either.”
The actress added, “When he came over to my house with Kapil, I didn’t even recognise him because he wasn’t doing much then. But he did so well, and we are such good friends now.”
In one of the key comedic moments from Netflix’s ‘The Great Indian Kapil Show’, Sunil Grover apparently took a dig at Kapil Sharma’s hair transplant and said how bald people don’t need shampoo.
The comedian also said, “Haan, yeh kaunsa below the belt hai, yeh to above the collar hi hai."
Kapil Shama’s cafe in Canada, named ‘Kap’s Cafe’, has been attacked for the second under a month, as 25 shots were fired, which again sparked the concern over violation and extortion threats in the area.
**What the Facebook post says**A Facebook post has surfaced on social media in which Goldy Dhillon of the Lawrence Bishnoi gang has allegedly claimed responsibility for the shooting in the comedian’s café and sent a warning to Kapil Sharma.
Comedian’s security beefed up
The sources in the Mumbai police have said Kapil Sharma’s security has been increased after two attacks at his cafe in quick succession.
