'A girl and her Ganpati': Priyanka Chopra's adorable pictures of daughter Malti Marie with Ganesha win hearts

Priyanka Chopra Jonas always finds time to enjoy life’s precious moments with her daughter, Malti Marie. Although the 41-year-old has shifted to Los Angeles with husband Nick Jonas after their marriage in 2018, the Citadel star is still keen on celebrating each Indian festival with utmost grandness.

In the latest, the former Miss World, shared a heartwarming tale of motherhood and religiosity, as the mother-daughter duo welcomed Lord Ganesha in their own way on the auspicious occasion of Ganesh Chaturthi 2023.

In a series of pictures shared by Priyanka Chopra Jonas on her Instagram handle, the actress offers sneak-peaks of an intimate celebration at her home with daughter Malti Marie. One such appealing picture shows Malti playing with her toy Ganesha. The actress captioned the post, “A girl and her Ganpati (heart eyes emoji) Always with us.. wherever we go.. #ganpatibappamorya #ganeshchaturthi.”

Based on the pictures, Malti Marie was dressed in a white frock, bangles and even a bindi for the Ganesh Chaturthi celebrations. Maltie, who was born via surrogacy in January 2022, is seen playing with a stuffed toy Ganesha.

The series of pictures follows more glimpses of Malti and the toy. One such photo shows the toy Ganesha placed beside a Ganpati idol at Priyanka’s home.

Work-wise, Priyanka Chopra will be seen in Heads of State, which stars John Cena and Idris Elba in lead roles. The Amazon Studios-produced film is directed by Ilya Naishuller.

The actress was last seen in the American spy action thriller Citadel with Richard Madden. The Russo Brothers’ web show premiered on Prime Video on 28 April.

Coming to Bollywood, the Priyanka Chopra will share screen space with Alia Bhatt and Katrina Kaif in Farhan Akhtar’s Jee Le Zaraa.
