Another of Subramaniam’s recommendations is security for the priests who feel threatened after word got out that they are the keepers of the keys to the temple vaults.
At present, former Comptroller and Auditor General Vinod Rai has been appointed to audit the vaults.
Firstbiz columnist S Muralidaran had argued thatwith Rai’s appointment, the apex court may have confused fearlessness for competence.
