Former chairman of Goldman Sachs Stephen Friedman, who has also worked in the White House under President George W Bush and is a former chairman of the board of directors of the New York Federal Reserve Bank, has entered the realm of dragons and warriors with a brief cameo in the season four premiere of ‘Game of Thrones. '
According to a report in Market watch,Friedman makes a cameo in the Season 4 premiere,dressed, ironically, as a peasant near the beginning of the episode.
But let’s not assume Friedman has given up his day job aschairman of the private-equity firm Stone Point Capital since his son, David Benioff, is the creator creator of the show.
However, the two have different names since David did not want to bee known as the 50th David Friedman in Hollywood, according to this New York Observer report.
If you haven’t already watched the season 4 premiere episode, ‘Swords And Vipers’, don’t forget to spot Friedman even though his cameo only lasts for a few seconds.
