Ranchi: Jharkhand Chief Minister Arjun Munda today said India needs a second green revolution to strengthen
the economic condition of its villages.

“India needs a second green revolution so that villages and the country as a whole becomes economically sound,” the chief minister said at a convention of farmers here.
He said no country could sustain growth based on industrial development alone, and the government should take immediate steps to ensure increase in agricultural produce.
