Xerox Targets Enterprises For Its Consumables

Xerox India has launched the Office Post Sales Group, in a bid to better serve its enterprise customers. The group will supply all kinds of consumable to its customers and has also tied up with a web portal ( www.cafegadgets.com) to provide consumables through online orders.

The group will handle all requirements of enterprises related to printers, ranging from paper and ink to maintenance.

The group is planning to tie up with top five retail majors in 10 cities for its various range of consumables. According to Ajay Khanna, associate director, Office Post Sales Group, “As consumables are major key growth drivers for Xerox, we are in the process of closing 5 national consumables contracts by the end of June 2007. We are discussing with private and government enterprises for these kind of contracts.”

Xerox India will also appoint a new head to handle channel expansion and value added products for consumable business.

Xerox India has also kick started a national consumables campaign in an attempt to create brand awareness and strengthen its business in the consumable segment. The group plans to set up 100 kiosks across 25 cities, including Mumbai, New Delhi, Jaipur, Pune, Bangalore, Chennai by the end of this year.
