Wipro Consolidates Operations For Microsoft Business Solutions
The processes of managing revenue deferrals, royalty payouts, and credit and collections have now been consolidated across the various Microsoft regional operating centres.
Wipro Technologies and Microsoft have announced the successful implementation of Microsoft Dynamics AX at the Microsoft Business Solutions division. This project involved a global implementation serving 242 countries through five locations across the world, leading to standardisation and harmonisation of business processes across the organisation. The Microsoft Dynamics AX ERP offers solutions in Financial Management, Supply Chain Management and Customer Relationship Management.
With the implementation of Microsoft Dynamics AX, the processes of managing revenue deferrals, royalty payouts, and credit and collections have been simplified and consolidated across the various Microsoft regional operating centres. This has also ensured standardised processes and controls to help enforce compliance, including regional regulatory invoicing mandates.
"We are happy to have partnered with Wipro in this critical project, the project has been a success," said Klaus Holse Andersen, CVP MBS, Sales and Operations, Microsoft. "We are seeing significant productivity increases in managing revenue deferrals, royalty payouts and credit and collection processes."
The implementation of Microsoft Dynamics AX has meant that key finance and credit and collections data is now available real-time and in a single source, thus, creating a more dynamic environment for the Finance, Invoicing, and Credit and Collections teams, to interact with both their internal customers and partners.
