Vivitek D8 Series Comes To India With New Projectors

Vivitek Corporation, an LA-based provider of multimedia display solutions, has launched a new series of projectors in India in addition to its existing range. The new series range is available in six models.

It has an ultra-portable lightweight design, at only 5.7 lbs, which fit a variety of applications for business, education, and other professional organisations. This portable projector is incorporated with the latest DLP technology from Texas Instruments that displays crisp images and also features Brilliant Colour for exceptional brightness of vibrant colours. Brilliant Colour technology is a new colour processing enhancement built upon digital light processing (DLP) technology.

The brightness of these projectors is upwards of 2,500 ANSI Lumens and has SVGA and XGA resolutions. The projection screen size of D825MS is 24.6"- 246" while projection size of D825MX is 23"-255". The D series projectors also come with 800 x 600 Native Resolution along with 4:3 Native Aspect Ratio and 2000:1 Contrast Ratio.

The projectors have been designed for cost-effective and energy efficient use by mobile professionals; and business and education segments. The launch of energy efficient projectors in the Indian market is an extension of Vivitek’s commitment towards the responsibility for global resource care in both its manufacturing and business processes and programmes.

The projectors are priced at Rs 33,750 for D825MS and Rs 45, 000 for D825MX and come with a two-year warranty.
