Usha International Limited, one of India’s fastest growing consumer durables companies announced winning of the SAP ACE Award for Customer Excellence 2012. This award is in recognition of being the first ever customer to do the real time analysis of big data using the new SAP (Systems, Applications and Products in Data Processing) Product “HANA for BW (High Performance Analytical Appliance for Business Information Warehouse)”.
From its genesis as the Shriram Group in 1889, Usha International Limited has grown from strength to strength, developing a robust infrastructural backbone consisting of 16 location offices, 60 company showrooms, 34 warehouses, 200 service centres backed by an in-house customer call centre. The award was received by Subodh Dubey, Senior Vice President and Group CIO for Usha International Ltd. The categories were judged by an eminent jury panel from the Industry. “The ACE awards recognise the cutting edge work that Indian enterprises are doing from a SAP implementation perspective to deliver game-changing innovation and value to their business,” said Sanjay J. Poonen, President and Corporate Officer, Global Solutions and Head of Mobility Divisions, SAP AG.
