I am confident that companies like OmniTech will help manage and reduce the losses due to such calamities.” Talking on the Government’s role in such areas, Chavan further added, “OmniTech and such other companies have full support of mine and the Maharashtra Government to make Maharashtra the state of choice for technology companies.”
As mentioned in the official press release, OmniCenter is built to provide business resilience by providing backup to three of the four business pillars– Workplace, Equipment and Data. (Fourth being People). The facility contains security systems, power supply arrangements, office equipment, connectivity infrastructure, call centre solutions and easy access. Workplace recovery facility is further supported with professional services including, consulting, managing, auditing and training in the areas of disaster recovery and business continuity.
“With BFSI, IT & ITES, manufacturing and telecom companies providing services round the clock, the need for Business Continuity Planning becomes critical. The fear of increasing recurrence of natural disasters, man made disasters, pandemic outbreak and dependence on technology has led to the demand for integrated disaster recovery services which can be provided through world-class recovery centres such as OmniCenter,” said Atul Hemani, MD, Omnitech InfoSolutions Ltd.
“Today many companies have captive data recovery systems, backups and facilities, however, the setup and operational cost of an integrated system is very high and so is the management and administration of the in-house disaster recovery plan. It is imperative for companies across industries to have not just an integrated disaster recovery management plan but also a cost effective option. This can effectively be achieved through outsourced services from Omnitech,” said Hemani.
