Symphony Analytics, a global provider of Big Data analytics solutions and services and a division of Symphony Teleca Corporation, recently announced that it has partnered with Revolution Analytics, the leading provider of software and services based on the open source R project for statistical computing. Together the companies will co-market solutions built upon Revolution R Enterprise, leveraging Revolution Analytics’ expertise in statistical computing solutions, and Symphony Teleca’s expertise operationalising predictive analytics for key vertical markets, such as retail, healthcare, financial services and other markets.
Launched as a separate division within Symphony Teleca earlier this year to consolidate analytics solutions into a single brand, Symphony Analytics combines technology and industry expertise in big data management, predictive analytics, social media analytics and visualisation to provide solutions that help organisations rapidly and effectively leverage big data to make more informed business decisions.
“Revolution Analytics’ open platform enables us to scale our offerings and drive significant increases in ROI for our fast-growing client base," said Dr. Venkat Rajan, Senior Vice President and General Manager, Analytics, Symphony Teleca. “Our predictive analytics solutions meet the growing market demand for new operationalised solutions that enable real-time and predictive analytics, which are integrated directly into a company’s business processes. Together with Revolution Analytics we’re able to bring about more affordable solutions that are enabling a new class of big data specialists to analyse data and unlock unprecedented business value.”
Based on Revolution R Enterprise, Symphony Analytics has already developed solutions for a number of vertical markets. Some of these solutions are leveraging the unique combination of Revolution Analytics’ Revolution R Enterprise platform with Symphony Analytics’ powerful SymphonyRPM structured analysis and planning platform.
