Sybase Offers New Version Of iAnywhere Mobile Office

Sybase Offers New Version Of iAnywhere Mobile Office

Sybase iAnywhere has announced the latest version of iAnywhere Mobile Office for Windows Mobile, Symbian and iPhone users in the enterprise. The new release offers enhanced administrative, network security and deployment features that allow enterprises to reduce the total cost of ownership when extending e-mail and business processes to wireless devices. iAnywhere Mobile Office allows the extension of enterprise-class e-mail and PIM data from Lotus Domino and Microsoft Exchange to a variety of wireless devices.

The latest version of iAnywhere Mobile Office continues to address enterprise requirements on various wireless devices with the following new key features:

Business Process Mobilisation

* A simplified e-mail-driven approach that enables business and workflow processes on Windows Mobile and Symbian devices
* Ability for users to take action from mobile devices to complete business processes, such as approval of expense reports, human resources requisitions and purchase orders, or notifications from CRM activities
* Web service interface for seamless server integration and speed of development with business process widgets, reducing the cost and effort necessary to deploy simple applications

* Enhanced supportability features that assist in troubleshooting issues
