SUSE has introduced its first Amazon Web Services (AWS) Test Drive running on SUSE Linux Enterprise Server. The AWS Test Drive of the Secure Messaging Service is free, allowing customers to try a secure digital registered mail solution that meets international protocols and standards.
The AWS Test Drive combines SUSE Linux Enterprise Server, WSO2 Enterprise Service Bus and Yenlo Digilink (Digikoppeling) to enable secure communication for governments and businesses.

The AWS Test Drive programme provides users with an easy way to set up preconfigured solutions and test them at no cost or risk. The first in a planned series of SUSE-based AWS Test Drives, the Secure Messaging Service test drive is delivered in a Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) format and can be tested on the AWS Cloud at no cost.
“The AWS Test Drive programme provides an ideal way for AWS users to test innovative solution stacks before deploying into production,” said Naji Almahmoud, global head of business development for SUSE. “SUSE Linux Enterprise Server provides partners and enterprises a highly reliable, scalable and secure operating platform for deploying solutions like the Secure Messaging Service on AWS.”
The Secure Messaging Service is an integrated solution built on enterprise open source software that handles 200 average-sized messages per second.
After evaluating the service through the AWS Test Drive program, users may deploy the Secure Messaging Service into production use through AWS Marketplace, WSO2 or Yenlo.
