Chennai based Sundaram Infotech Solutions (SIS), the IT services arm of Sundaram Finance has launched SmartLend Lite, a customized IT solution that is designed to assist small and mid sized NBFCs and Banks in their retail lending activities.
Developed in Navision 4.0(Microsoft’s ERP solution), SmartLend Lite is said to help in automating Application Processing & Credit Appraisal, Lease Creation and Initiation, Disbursements, Debt Collections, Collections Management, among other processes.
SmartLend Lite lends itself credibly with banks for their retail lending portfolio, in addition to automation of Fixed Deposits processes, said SIS in a statement.
Commenting on the launch, Srinivas Acharya, CEO, SIS, stated, “SmartLend Lite imbibes industry best practices derived out of five decades of domain expertise from the parent company, Sundaram Finance. Our intent is to leverage this expertise to establish a strong presence in this segment. The customised IT offering for the NBFCs is expected to completely integrate and automate their systems to handle asset and working capital financing as well as debt factoring, payroll processing, and credit appraisal.”
