Cisco has unveiled a multi-pronged strategic roadmap to tap the rapidly growing market for IT and networking of Small and Medium Businesses in India.
The strategy includes focusing on new customised SMB products/solutions and financing schemes like the recently launched Easy Lease program for SMBs. To increase awareness of its products and programmes among these businesses, Cisco will continue to invest heavily in partner enablement and the ‘Network on Wheels’ campaign among others.
Pramodh Menon, senior vice president, Commercial, Cisco India & SAARC said, “Small and Mid-sized businesses may differ across the various industries and regions of the world, but they all require operational efficiency, customer responsiveness, cost containment and network security. Cisco provides holistic, integrated and simple solutions/products, rather than ad hoc point products that will enable them to plan a long term technology strategy, and create real business value and competitive edge.”
