UK-based software vendor Singularity has announced a strategic alliance with MphasiS, an IT services company headquartered in India. Under the agreement, MphasiS will use Singularity’s business process management (BPM) technology to automate complex business processes for clients. MphasiS provides applications services, infrastructure services and business process outsourcing to clients worldwide across industries such as financial services, manufacturing, healthcare, communications, transportation, consumer and retail and energy.
BPM technology eliminates unnecessary steps and reduces manual inputs in a process, increasing the number of activities that can be carried out in parallel.
“We’re delighted to sign this agreement with MphasiS,” said Padraig Canavan, CEO of Singularity. “The combination of their global reach and our Business Process Management technology will enhance productivity for all our customers. This alliance in particular reflects our long-term focus on driving new levels of efficiency in knowledge-intensive sectors such as banking, energy and healthcare.”
“We’ve chosen Singularity because of their process expertise, case management expertise and their focus on helping customers become more agile. We believe that combined with our global delivery capabilities this will drive transformational change for our customers,” said Dinesh Venugopal, Technology Development and IP Strategy head of MphasiS.
