Simplex Infrastructures has chosen IBM to cover all their IT needs involving hardware, software and services solutions for mailing, data back-up and storage, running the ERP and datacentre set-up to manage the growth in business and track all construction projects of the company effectively.
Simplex Infrastructures’ association with IBM started with IBM Lotus Domino Enterprise Server for mailing requirement. They also bought a centralised E-mail archiving solution from IBM. Thereafter, multiple IBM Software & Hardware products have been purchased by Simplex in the last few years including IBM Tivoli Storage manager for data backup and recovery, IBM DB2 Content manager for mail archiving, IBM Power Systems Servers & Storage for deploying the in-house developed ERP solution, and services towards network upgrade and modernisation.
Recently, IBM designed the new datacentre at Simplex Infrastructures site in Kolkata and implemented the project including supply of Precision Air-conditioners & Redundant UPS Systems. All construction projects of Simplex are connected to this datacentre and it has become the nerve center of their organisation.
