Sigma has expanded its ‘Cooperation Agreement’ with Sonata Software. The new ‘Partnership Agreement’ is part of Sigma’s investment in business systems solutions and is aimed at facilitating a more efficient global delivery in the business systems solutions area.

Sigma has been in Bangalore, India since September 2007, with its own office and management personnel. Today, the company has several assignments, which it is undertaking with its partners. The new agreement with Sonata will enable Sigma to provide top-of-the-line business solutions based on Microsoft Dynamics AX. Sigma will now be able to offer expanded global delivery capacity and finished conversion solutions within the business systems domain.

“Our customers, who are primarily manufacturing companies, are increasingly demanding that we be effective in deliveries in the global market. Through our partnership with Sonata, we are now taking a step further, to offer not only optimum solutions but those that are tested, and value-based,” said Jonas Steffensson, head of Sigma’s Dynamics Operations.

Dinesh Ramachandran, head – Strategic Alliances, Sonata Software, said, “The alliance with Sigma will add to our existing delivery and sales capabilities in Europe. In line with Sonata’s strategy of leveraging local presence to open up new geographies, the Sigma partnership will strengthen our base in Sweden and neighbouring countries. Sonata already has a strong presence in the UK and in Germany.”
