Juniper Networks and Sify Technologies have announced the launch of enhanced managed security services for small to large Indian enterprises, using Juniper's Adaptive Threat Management Solutions.
Sify will launch these enhanced services with a single point of service deployment, management and control. The company also has plans to launch other managed services, such as for WAN optimisation and Application Acceleration, based on Juniper's solutions, in the near future. The partnership will enable Sify to offer a full suite of premium services using Juniper Networks' technology for competitive differentiation and further its strategic standing with enterprise customers in India.
P J Nath, executive president, Sify Enterprise Solutions, said, "We launched our end-to-end managed security services with a state-of-the-art Security Operations Centre in Bangalore in January this year. The launch of these services made us even more competitive in managed services with our range of enterprise service offerings across connectivity, hosting, applications and security enhanced by their addition. The partnership with Juniper Networks is an extension of this strategy. Juniper's technology combined with our infrastructure management capabilities, offer a winning combination in managed security services in India."
Nagendra Venkaswamy, managing director, India & SAARC, Juniper Networks, said, "Many enterprises are choosing to protect their network assets against the ongoing proliferation of complex threats by purchasing cost-effective and easy-to-use managed security services. Managed security services are therefore one of the fastest growing services in India with a market size of about Rs 181 crores last year. Sify's decision to enhance its managed services future with Juniper's platforms will strengthen our position as a provider of security solutions."
