Shiv-Vani Oil Deploys Newgen Solution To Eliminate Info Silos

Newgen Software, the provider of Business Process Management (BPM), Enterprise Content Management (ECM) and Customer Communication Management (CCM) announced that Shiv-Vani Oil, a premier service provider catering to the upstream segment of the oil and gas industry with proven expertise in exploration, production and allied services, has acquired Newgen’s Document Management Solution with SAP image enablement. The solution will facilitate digitisation of all physical business documents for secured archival and retrieval from a user right based centralised repository.

Newgen’s End-to-End solution consists of OmniDocs and OmniScan products. The solution will allow users to leverage rights based DMS functionalities of OmniDocs for accessing, searching, and viewing, sharing and storing business documents. Archival, retrieval and retention of documents would be easy and hassle free by using OmniDocs.

At the back-end, all documents are stored in Newgen;s secured scalable document repositories, placing no added load on SAP servers. Content security is maintained by allowing -folder-level access, and permissions can be set for different users. The solution can be seamlessly extended to non-SAP documents in the enterprise ensuring further efficiency.
