SAP Releases BusinessObjects GRC 10.0

Delivering on its product road map to help customers run better governance, risk and compliance (GRC) processes, SAP AG has announced the global general availability of the 10.0 release of SAP BusinessObjects GRC solutions. The software helps organisations reduce the cost and effort required to manage risk and compliance programs; more confidently protect revenue streams, shareholder value and reputation; and optimise organisational performance and results.

With business analytics solutions from SAP, organisations can benefit from unified solutions for business intelligence (BI), data warehousing, enterprise information management (EIM), enterprise performance management (EPM) and GRC — as well as analytic applications — to better understand their businesses and the best ways in which to grow.

The 10.0 release introduces a common look and feel across all applications in the GRC suite; embeds BI reports and dashboards; and includes a graphical tool to define and depict risks. The new features make the products easier to use and enable people to garner attention to risks from business managers who have limited GRC expertise. By integrating GRC activities into core business processes and applications, executives can manage their businesses proactively and strategically rather than reactively.
