Raritan Unveils dcTrack In India

Raritan has announced the availability of its dcTrack suite of Datacentre Infrastructure Management (DCIM) solutions in the Indian market.

Raritan will integrate dcTrack and its related technologies into Raritan’s power management portfolio. Raritan’s solutions help IT and facility organisations reduce energy costs and manage datacentres by providing insights on various dimensions of a datacentre- including granular information for identifying energy-inefficient servers, wasteful over-cooling, circuit breakers at the point of tripping and available rack capacity to add servers.

“The addition of dcTrack’s comprehensive visualisation software will complement Raritan’s capabilities of gathering, measuring, monitoring and analysing power usage and environmental indictors, as well as our remote server access and control technologies. Our vision to make datacentres more efficient and reliable, by using real-time, detailed information of IT infrastructure elements, will help us advance our portfolio and help organisations make better decisions for their datacentres and take steps towards green computing,” said Sanjay Motwani, Regional Manager India and Middle East, Raritan.
