“We are excited and delighted to be entering a hitherto underserved market like Bangladesh, in association with CSL. From various sources, we gather that Bangladesh is on the threshold of a new phase of growth. India and Bangladesh have a lot to share in culture, traditions and business. We strongly believe that our powerful suite of offerings, along with the rich expertise and understanding gained in the Indian sub-continent will help us gain a strong foothold in Bangladesh market. We hope to add value to businesses in Bangladesh, helping them transform in today’s globalised world,” said R. Shankar, Executive Vice President, India, Middle East and Africa, Ramco Systems.

Bangladesh is a very large market with a large IT resource pool. The government policies are conducive for Bangladesh companies to collaborate with Indian IT companies so that they can offer IT products and services to the local market. Through such collaborations, companies can use the local talent pool to offer services to the world markets. The government of Bangladesh has a vision to create a ‘Digital Bangladesh’ in the near future.

“Bangladesh has been witnessing rapid growth in industries and trade. In order to support the growing business environment, there is increasing need for technology adoption. ERP applications boost performance and help industries compete better in the global market. We are confident that the entry of an international ERP vendor of Indian origin, like, Ramco Systems will bring best-in-class products to the Bangladesh market and also boost the trade relations between Bangladesh and India,” said Abdul Matlub Ahmad – President, India-Bangladesh Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
