Radware, a provider of integrated application delivery solutions for business-smart networking, has announced the formal opening of a new research and development centre at Bangalore in India, making it one of the company’s three major worldwide R&D centres.
“India is one of our key high growth engines and the opening of our new R&D centre marks a strategic milestone in our growth strategy,” said Ilan Kinreich, COO, Radware. “We have been hiring more professional staff, who will be collaborating with our other R&D centres to better provide fast emerging and diverse solutions suited to customer needs. The move was based on India’s greater synergy with the Asian region amid the economic reforms in India, as well as prompted by the presence of several major Indian customers, who do business with Radware.”
With more than 100 staff in India, Radware now has offices located in five cities including New Delhi, Mumbai, Bangalore, Hyderabad and Chennai. The company has been present in India since 2002 and has been a provider of application delivery solutions to various industries such as government, banks, financial institutions, manufacturing companies and other large enterprise customers in the country.
“Even from a sales perspective, India is one of the great success stories in the entire Asia Pacific region,” Nikhil Taneja, Country Manager Radware, India & SAARC said. “We are very pleased to be increasing the number of employees and investments in the local market. It is a very positive sign for Radware as well as the application delivery market in general. We are seeing increased demand for Radware solutions in India as carriers, private companies and individuals start to take advantage of the strength of application delivery.”
