In a bid to streamline its company wide operations and associated business processes, Andhra Pradesh based Priyadarshini Spinning Mills (PSML) has chosen to deploy Microsoft Dynamics AX ERP.
Formerly known as Microsoft Axapta, Dynamics AX is a multi-language, multi-currency enterprise resource planning (ERP) solution specially tailored for mid-sized companies.
It is said to support business processes such as manufacturing, distribution, supply chain management, project management, financial management, customer relationship management, human resource management and business analysis.
Designed with one database, one toolbox, one business logic, and one source code, Dynamics AX integrates with Microsoft products such as SQL SERver, BizTalk Server, Exchange, Office, and Windows.
Praxis Technologies has been roped in as the implementation partner for the project. While the implementation has already begun at PSML’s Hyderabad head-office, the ERP is expected to be deployed at the company’s manufacturing units, other offices and depots by next year,
