Pankaj Chawla Is Now 3i Infotech President- India, Middle East, APAC, Africa

3i Infotech, provider of IT solutions, has announced that Pankaj Chawla has been elevated as President of its India, Middle East, APAC & Africa markets. Earlier Chawla was Head of Middle East, Africa, Russia and CIS regions.

In his new position, Pankaj Chawla will be in charge of 3i Infotech’s business operations across significant markets which account for approximately 40% of the company’s global revenue.

Prior to joining 3i Infotech, Chawla served as the Managing Director of LogicaCMG for the South Asian region; he has also worked with organisations such as General Electric (GE) and Satyam Computers.

“Pankaj has consistently proved his significant experience and expertise during his association with 3i Infotech. We are confident that with his effective leadership skills and deep IT knowledge, he will further accelerate the growth of 3i Infotech in these fast growing markets,” said V. In the South Asia region Chawla will be assisted by Narayan V. who has recently been assigned the role of Region Head– South Asia. Narayan has earlier been associated with 3i Infotech as Vice President and Region Head– Middle East and North Africa.
