Oracle Claims 1200+ Indian MBs Adopt Oracle Database

As per Oracle records, it has added companies like Mayur Suiting, Rajasthan State Co-operative Bank, Foster Wheeler, ARCIL, Keane, L G Balakrishnan and Bros and Madhyanchal Vidyut Vitran Nigam to its customer list.

Oracle Claims 1200+ Indian MBs Adopt Oracle Database

Oracle India recently claimed that over 1,200 new mid-size Indian companies across manufacturing, retail, pharma, financial services, education, BPO/IT enabled services and other industries have selected Oracle Database to power their critical business applications in the last two years. As per Oracle records, it has added companies like Mayur Suiting, Rajasthan State Co-operative Bank, Foster Wheeler, ARCIL, Keane, L G Balakrishnan and Bros and Madhyanchal Vidyut Vitran Nigam to its customer list during this period.

IDC has ranked Oracle the leader in RDBMS (relational database management software) for SMBs (Small and Medium Businesses) in India with 59 percent revenue share in 1H 2008.
