NxtGen Datacenter & Cloud Technologies, the datacentre services solution provider announces the expansion of its enterprise cloud services portfolio.
Headquartered in Bangalore, NxtGen is delivering cloud services across multiple platforms, hosting enterprise applications, e-commerce, gaming and movie delivery. Working closely with industry leading technology partners, NxtGen is able double the performance of cloud infrastructure and reduce cost.
Enterprise applications require custom configuration of the compute, storage, network and security elements to be able to deliver predictable performance, which cannot be delivered on the public cloud infrastructure. NxtGen can deliver a virtualised datacentre allowing customers to replicate exact requirement of their application delivery.
The compute performance is delivered using custom-built servers based on Intel’s E-5 Xeon processors, server grade SSD drives and networking components. While similar services are delivered on other platforms, NxtGen is working with Microsoft on the virtualisation and orchestration layers for the Enterprise Cloud Services. Fortinet Unified Threat Management Appliances provide the security. NxtGen & Emerson are working closely to deploy high-density and high-energy efficiency datacentres.
Through these services, NxtGen aims to create the much-needed demarcation between public and enterprise-class cloud services. NxtGen is already serving customers such as Zapak.com, Bigadda Shop, Reliance Games, Manipal Ankur, InfoTrak among others, on this platform.
A.S. Rajgopal, Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer, NxtGen said, “For successful implementation of a cloud infrastructure for an enterprise, it is imperative for the service provider to understands the enterprise application needs in depth. Our team works closely with customers to replicate the customer environment to ensure expected level of performance along with enterprise-class security and availability. With Enterprise Cloud Services, we are delivering the benefits of a private cloud at cost lower than public cloud for our customers.”
