NAVTEQ Renews Contract With Mahindra Satyam BPO

Mahindra Satyam, a global consulting and IT services provider, has announced that its business process outsourcing arm, Mahindra Satyam BPO has renewed its existing contract with NAVTEQ – the provider of digital map data for a further period of two years. Mahindra Satyam BPO’s relationship with the customer is over five years old, and it currently provides a wide portfolio of services to the customer.

“We are delighted to extend our contract with Mahindra Satyam BPO. Mahindra Satyam BPO has always displayed initiative and enthusiasm to support the complex processes required in the creation and updates of NAVTEQ’s digital maps. They have played an important role in helping Navteq provide best-in-class geospatial services to its customers globally,” said Luther Siebert, Vice President, Global Production Operations, NAVTEQ.

“The renewal of the contract for a further period of two years shows NAVTEQ’s confidence in our organisation. In 2004, we started by handling two of the customer’s processes. Over time, we have strengthened our relationship by handling various distinct and complex processes for the customer. The renewal of the contract was a logical extension. We are excited about the possibilities that lie ahead of us, and are confident that our engagement with NAVTEQ will continue to be a strategic business relationship in the true sense of the term,” said Vijay Rangineni, CEO, Mahindra Satyam BPO.

The services currently provided by Mahindra Satyam BPO include geospatial software applications and modeling, as well as data support services.
