Narendra Nayak To Head CSC's Sales Efforts In India

CSC has announced that IT and telecom industry veteran, Narendra Nayak, has been appointed to lead the company’s newly-formed sales efforts focused on the Indian domestic market. Reporting to Brian Manning, president and managing director of CSC in India, Nayak will be charged with introducing the CSC portfolio of technology services from around the world to Indian companies in the banking, insurance, manufacturing, healthcare and government sectors, equipping them with technology capabilities to help compete in the global marketplace.

“As we look to replicate in India the success we have had with enterprise and government clients in other regions across the world, we are confident of Narendra’s capability to lead this important initiative,” Manning said. “We have the solutions and expertise to enable Indian companies to leapfrog to the most current business and innovation models through virtualisation and mobile technologies. The success of this strategy will steer CSC’s growth to new levels.”

CSC offers IT services that span from cloud computing, cybersecurity, mobility, applications and infrastructure management, to business and technology consulting, systems integration and industry-specific solutions. These include industrialised solutions that are highly automated, use standardised best-of-breed tools, feature output-based pricing and are available on-demand. CSC will also leverage its strong global alliance network with more than 100 software, hardware and strategic emerging partners to bring the right solutions to customers in India.

Since 1991, CSC has steadily expanded its India operations to productively respond to the needs of its global clients. CSC’s India operations are the company’s second largest globally with a strong team of 20,000 professionals across its development and delivery centers in seven locations in Noida, Indore, Hyderabad, Chennai, Mumbai, Bangalore and Vadodara.
