atom technologies has entered into a partnership with Magna Publishing House, a publisher of magazines like Stardust, Savvy, Society etc for the atom IVR (interactive voice response) platform. Magna customers will now be able to subscribe magazines and make secure credit card payments by just dialling a toll free number. This will be in addition to the Internet and other presence for subscribing to Magna’s publications. Magna expects a surge in revenue as the payment process is cent percent automated, secure and can be completed instantly.

Customers need not go through the current tedious and time consuming process of preparing a demand draft/cheque, etc and then wait for over 6-8 weeks for the subscription to commence. Magna will speed up its subscription renewal process through the IVR system and will also reduce the overall administrative overheads involved in new customer acquisition and retention.

“To improve service quality, speed up subscriber acquisition, capitalise on enquiries and ensure that we do not miss out on potential business, we have implemented atom IVR. With atom, Magna will not only cater to the increasing demand for its publications, but will also become more competitive in its overall service offering. This marks our ability to exploit innovative technologies to reach out to our customers, in addition to our Internet presence,” said Rajeev Mokashi, head-Subscriptions. “Customers can now be assured of instant subscriptions through an automated and secure environment,” added Mokashi.

“We are delighted to have tied up with Magna for implementing the atom IVR platform. I am sure our technology will help Magna reach out instantly and more effectively to its customers and prospects, thereby generating more business for them,” said Dewang Neralla, director of atom Technologies.

“Increasingly merchants across the country are realising the benefits, competiveness and cost effectiveness of implementing interactive voice response platforms. atom IVR enables merchants to turn their cost centres into profit centres. On one hand, atom IVR will speed up and increase new customer acquisition, and will considerably reduce the cost per customer acquisition on the other,” said Neralla.
