Lumension Security Launches India Operations

Lumension Security (formerly known as PatchLink Corporation), a global security management company, has announced the formal launch of its India operations. The company will provide unified protection and control of all enterprise endpoints, applications and devices to tap the vast Indian market.

According to Neal Gemassmer, VP, Asia Pacific, Lumension Security, “Frost & Sullivan recognises India as the second fastest growing network security market in the Asia Pacific Region. Though the business landscape in India is undergoing rapid changes, the security market is crowded with stand alone point solutions. Lumension Security is shifting the paradigm from a reactive to a proactive approach by unifying best-of-breed, enterprise-class solutions that enforce and maintain security policies, reduce overall complexity and costs, and ultimately accelerate business results.”

“In addition to our office in Mumbai, we are expanding our footprint in the country with plans to open offices in Bangalore and Delhi. BFSI, IT/ITES, manufacturing, transportation, hospitality and government sector will be our primary focus areas”, added Gemassmer.

This two-tier distribution model will enable us to leverage Inflow Technologies’ partner network to extend our solutions to value-added resellers and system integrators (SIs) across the country.”
