Lattice Bridge Infotech (LBIT), a player in the field of voice technology, based out of Chennai, has launched new HRMS solutions to foray into the HR domain under the ‘Enterprise Efficiency and Productivity Suite’ of products. Three of the products – Candidate Scan, Employee Self Service and Dialogue Tracker – have been developed by the company with the aim to optimise HR operations using voice technology and can be customised based on client requirements.
Candidate Scan has been developed to facilitate ’talk-in’ interviews instead of the traditional ‘walk-in’ ones. It breaks geographical distances, the time factor and language barriers and can handle over 1,00,000 calls every day. Features include a candidate screening system to filter candidates at each level based on predetermined parameters, interview scheduling with respective department heads, multiple language (11 Indian languages at present), administering tests (psychometric, computing skills etc) with the final output converted to English and most importantly, checking authenticity of the candidates by use of ‘speech biometrics’.
Employee Self Service has been designed to help employees call a pre-published number and reach out to the different HR functions such as work schedules, leave management, salary details, taxation, benefits, provident funds and deadlines, through a telephonic interface. The solution is most appropriate for organisations where the employees are scattered geographically. It performs real time communication using existing employee database and updates all requested changes with maximum security. It helps free HR resources to focus on core functions, thereby, increasing productivity and efficiency.
Dialogue Tracker is an application that enables communication management at call centres and prevents leakage of ‘Intellectual Property’ through telephones. The technology can be used for recording of voice/dialogue from telephone networks for review at a later date. Apart from recording, the application also maintains call and line records such as start time, end time, Agent ID, Call ID and phone number.
Mohan Ram, MD, LBIT, said, “Voice technology provides a breakthrough in information management and transmission. We have developed our HR product line based upon voice technology, with the idea of simplifying various operations like recruitment, security and employee relations, which in turn aid cost cutting and efficiency improvement.”
