ItzCash Adopts Merchant Acquisition Process Module From SAP

ItzCash card, a multi-purpose prepaid cash card based out of India, has implemented an SAP solution, which includes a unique model designed by ItzCash called Merchant Acquisition Process (MAP). MAP is developed and maintained exclusively by ItzCash Card.

MAP infuses business requirements into systems requirements. It requires a thorough understanding and mapping to capture the merchant information from the time a merchant is in the lead generation phase till the merchant partners with ItzCash card.

ItzCash today has more than 5,000 merchants and a spread across 1,800 towns. MAP has a feature of providing all the merchant and business related queries from the initial stage of a new product or service generation to the actual development of the product. Thus, MAP will become an integrated business solution for ItzCash card.

For instance, when a merchant is integrated, detailed information about the merchant is obtained. MAP aims at providing detailed information to various departments of the company as to how the merchant can be of best use to their department and the company as a whole, thus providing a detailed backgrounder about merchants. This is obtained by a MAP engine, which runs internally.

ItzCash card’s various tie-ups include IRCTC for rail booking, Municipal Corporation of Greater Mumbai (MCGM) to facilitate online payment of property tax and water bills in Mumbai, and Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD) for paying property tax in Delhi.
