Ingres, Pentaho Announce Strategic Partnership

Ingres Corporation, an Open Source Information Management software and services company, and Pentaho Corporation, the commercial open source alternative for business intelligence (BI), has announced a technology partnership to address the growing demand for open source business intelligence solutions. Through the partnership, the companies will work together to ensure ongoing integration of key product lines, as well as support the technology integration with joint sales and marketing activities aimed at the business intelligence market.
