InfrasoftTech Assessed At Level 5 For CMMI Development Model

InfrasoftTech a global software products, solutions and services provider focused on BFSI sector, has announced that it has been assessed at Level 5 for the Capability Maturity Model Integration (CMMI) Version 1.3-Development model for its ESSG development centre at Mumbai.

The assessment led by QAI India Limited as per the Standard CMMI Appraisal Method for Process Improvement (SCAMPI) methodology evaluated InfrasoftTech on stringent parameters including implementation of Process Performance Models. InfrasoftTech is the third only organisation in the world and the first in Asia Pacific region to be assessed at Level 5 for the CMMI Version 1.3

Gururaj Managuli, High Maturity Lead Appraiser, QAI Global Services said “During the appraisal, it was found that InfrasoftTech applies quality processes and practices in all aspects of project execution & delivery, consistently and effectively. This was especially true for high maturity practices relating to Quantitative Project Management, Proactive Error Prevention and Estimation. It was also heartening to note that InfrasoftTech made a special effort to ensure that processes remained effective and that process compliance did not lead to unnecessary overheads.”
