Informatica Announces Senior Appointments In South Asia, India

Informatica Corporation, the provider of data integration software, has announced the appointment of industry veterans Richard Jones as managing director, South Asia and Sangeetha Phalgunan as country manager, Sales, India. These senior leadership appointments underscore the importance and potential in the Asia region today, reinforcing Informatica’s commitment to the market.

Jones and Phalgunan both hold the primary responsibility of growing the Informatica business in South Asia and India, respectively. Their roles will include increasing revenue, building partnerships for profitable outcomes and driving higher adoption of the Informatica Platform.

In this role, Sangeetha Phalgunan will report into Richard Jones. Sangeetha brings over 20 years’ sales experience in the enterprise software business. She has held senior positions with Serena Software, HP, Mercury Interactive Corporation India and BEA.

Richard Jones is a veteran in the data management space with over 15 years’ experience in field sales and delivery management. Richard holds a Master’s Degree in IT and Management.
