Pithampur Audyogig Sangathan (PAS), an association of industries in Pithampur, an industrial base in central India, has announced its partnership with Tata Consultancy Services (TCS), to offer integrated, end-to-end IT solutions to Micro, Small and Medium Enterprise (MSME) members. This relationship with TCS will help PAS members enhance their competitiveness by leveraging TCS’ unique ‘IT-as-a-Service’ offering for small and medium business. This end-to-end 'IT-as-a-Service' model is backed by TCS' technology expertise, delivery efficiency and service offerings, thereby redefining the way IT is consumed by MSMEs.
Gautam Kothari, president, PAS, said, "There is increasing awareness in industries about the threats and challenges of a globalised economy. Today, we face the problems of dealing with multiple vendors and continual technology changes. There is a need to address IT adoption by MSMEs in an integrated and holistic manner".
