Indian Bank in association with IRCTC has launched an e-ticketing facility for reservation of railway tickets, using the Bank’s ATM cards

Indian Bank launches e-ticketing facility

Indian Bank in association with IRCTC has launched an e-ticketing facility for reservation of railway tickets, using the Bank’s ATM cards.

Indian Bank has entered into an MoU with Indian Railways to install ATMs in 51 Railway Stations across the country. Of these, 34 stations will have e-ticketing kiosks along with ATMs.

The stations covered under the MoU include 2 in Eastern Railway (Howrah and Kharagpur); 1 in North Central Railway (Gwalior); 4 in North Eastern Railway ( Allahabad, Kanpur, Lucknow and Varanasi); 6 in Northern Railway ( New Delhi, Nizammuddin, Gaziabad, Ambala City, Delhi Sadar Bazaar and Faridabad town); 6 in South Central Railway (Secunderabad, Vijayawada, Visakhapatnam, Warangal, Rajamundry and Renigunta); 1 in South Western Railway (Bangalore City) and 31 in Southern Railway (Ambur, Arakonam, Chalakudy, Chingelput, Coimbatore, Egmore, Ernakulam, Kancheepuram, Karaikudi, Karur, Kasargod, Kozhikode, Kumbakonam, Madurai, Mahe, Mettupalayam, Palakkad, Palani, Pudukottai, Rajapalayam, Salem Junction, Sivaganga, Tambaram, Thiruthani, Tirunelveli Junction, Tiruppur, Tiruvallur, Trichur, Trichy Junction, Udhagamandalam and Vridhachalam).
