InfoWorld survey conducted by IDG Research has cited BEA as the industry’s top service-oriented architecture (SOA) thought leader.
Two-thirds of IT decision-makers surveyed (6%) named BEA as an SOA thought leader, 51% of respondents named BEA as a company they would consider working with to deploy SOA solutions and services in the next 12 months.
“It’s great to see recognition from the market that BEA continues to lead the pack as an SOA innovator and thought leader,” said Bruce Graham, senior vice president of Worldwide Consulting for BEA Systems. “It’s also clear that more customers are seeing the benefits SOA can bring in terms of increased agility, innovation and cost reduction.”
The research also shows that the scope of SOA projects have progressed dramatically from 2005 through 2007, with enterprise-wide adoptions increasing from 8 to 21% over the three-year period.
