SAS, the business analytics software and services provider, continues to hold a commanding market share in the global advanced analytics market, according to an IDC report titled ‘Worldwide Business Analytics Software 2013-2017 Forecast and 2012 Vendor Shares’. SAS has held this leading position since IDC started tracking advanced analytics in 1997.
The IDC research showed analytics leader SAS with a 36.2 percent share of the 2012 global advanced analytics, up almost a percentage point from a year earlier and twice the market share of the next closest competitor.
