Revolabs, a provider of wireless audio products for enhancing collaboration, has announced that ICONS, the national distributor for Nuance and MacSpeech, will now offer the Revolabs xTag wireless microphone. These microphones are certified by both Nuance and MacSpeech for their speech recognition solutions.

The xTag wireless microphone can be used for Web conferencing, podcasting, voicelift, Skype and Google Talk, speech dictation, and distance learning among many others.

The xTag wireless microphone’s wide band audio combined with HIPAA compliance security, complements all speech recognition software users especially the Dragon NaturallySpeaking Medical users, which is one of the most widely used general-purpose speech-enabled clinical documentation solution in the healthcare industry. Now, medical personnel do not need to be tethered to a computer as the xTag wireless microphone allows for natural mobility and is rechargeable – eliminating the need to wear a headset or a bulky transmitter.
