HP has unveiled its new Z210 CMT and SFF Workstations, 8460w, 8560w and 8760w EliteBook Mobile Workstations.
The new HP Z210 Workstations are available in convertible mini-tower (CMT) or highly compact small form factor (SFF) options for space-constrained environments. The HP Z210 SFF is 65 percent smaller than the HP Z210 CMT. Both sizes offer the choice of high-performance, enterprise-class Intel Xeon E3 and second-generation Intel Core 3/i5/i7 processors, and a range of professional graphics options, including 2-D choices from AMD and NVIDIA that incorporate dual graphics card capabilities that support up to four 2-D displays. 3-D choices include next-generation processor-integrated Intel high-definition graphics that lower the entry cost for professional 3-D graphics, and entry and midrange graphics from NVIDIA and AMD.
The HP Z210 Workstations are also equipped with new technologies to help you reduce your energy usage and carbon footprint such as the HP Carbon Footprint Calculator, which allows users to see how they can reduce their environmental impact and costs of computing.
The new HP EliteBook Mobile Workstations combine innovative design with trusted, workstation-class technology to fuel creativity. Ideal for customers who are looking for powerful computing experiences, the new HP EliteBook mobile workstations allow them to easily create content on the go.
Building on HP’s “FORGE” design framework, the new EliteBook w-series embodies a timeless construction, with precision-engineered durability features that are designed for maximum reliability.
HP’s smallest and lightest mobile workstation, the EliteBook 8460w, starts at only 2.2 kilos and includes a 14.0-inch diagonal HD panel, in addition to an AMD FirePro 1 GB video memory professional graphics card for true on-the-road video performance. The 15.0-inch EliteBook 8560w and 17.3-inch EliteBook 8760w are further equipped with HP’s DreamColor monitor for unprecedented color fidelity and accuracy in a mobile display.
HP’s mobile workstations also are certified by independent software vendors to run the most demanding professional applications, helping ensure reliable performance for mobile power users.
The HP EliteBook w-series mobile workstations are equipped with second-generation Intel Core i7 and i5 dual- and quad-core processors, offer premium performance and responsiveness with vPro compatibility, and support up to 32 GB of RAM to deliver optimised workstation-class processing and support migration to 3-D professional applications. The HP EliteBook 8760w can also be configured with one of three hard drives and RAID 5 support– a first for HP mobile workstations.
The HP Performance Advisor, an intuitive user interface, is also now available on HP mobile workstations to help keep applications running smoothly, while optimising configuration and graphics performance. The EliteBook w-series mobile workstations also offer HP Professional Innovations, including HP QuickWeb, HP Power Assistant, HP Connection Manager and HP ProtectTools, which include standard drive encryption for data protection.
“Built for professionals, the HP Z210 workstations with the new Intel Xeon processor E3 1200 family are changing the definition of the entry-level workstation,” said Ravichandran R- Director, Sales & Marketing, Intel South Asia. “This processor’s greatest innovation is how it integrates the CPU and graphics engines on the same die. That means visual and 3-D graphics capabilities that were once only available to entry workstation users with discrete graphics cards will now be accessible to anyone with an entry workstation powered by the Intel Xeon E3 family with Intel HD Graphics P3000,” he adds.
“The new HP Z210 SFF Workstation hits new price points, making it affordable for small & mid-sized customers to benefit from the power of professional Workstations. Even desktop customers can now spend a little more to move up to professional workstations for enhanced performance & reliability.”
“We are confident that this innovative range of solutions from HP’s portfolio will go a long way in helping organisations meet their business needs efficiently and effectively,” Vinay Awasthi, Category Director, HP PSG.
