HP Unveils ePrint-Enabled OfficeJet Portfolio

Hewlett Packard has launched ePrint enabled OfficeJet printers. Designed for offices and users working out of home, HP’s ePrint technology, incorporated in the new all-in-one printing solutions, provides users with the freedom and convenience to print from any mobile device, wherever business happens.

Key features of the new printer line-up include:

  • Printing from anywhere, anytime, directly to the new HP all-in-one printers, using any internet enabled mobile device, iPads, Smart Phones, Blackberry.
  • Every OfficeJet web-connected and cloud print-enabled printer will have a unique email address that allows the sender to print by just sending an email message.
  • Get professional-quality colour prints for up to 50% lower cost per page and energy use than lasers featuring both wired and wireless networking.
  • The HP ePrintCenter, the destination for virtually every printing need will enable users to start and upgrade applications useful for office printing.

Rajkumar Rishi, Director – Inkjet & Web Solutions, Imaging & Printing Group, HP India said, “As the global imaging and printing solutions provider, HP understands the need of 24x7 available technologies. With the massive growth of the internet and smartphones, and even touch technology, the new HP web-empowered printers will make access to web content and printing easier for offices easily from anytime and anywhere in the world. Thus, making life simpler for an executive on a tour to send a business document using a Palm Pre or BlackBerry smartphone instead of being physically present in the vicinity of the printer. HP promises to make printing that convenient!”

STORY CONTINUES BELOW THIS AD

With the new line of printers – HP Officejet Pro 8500A e-All-in-One, HP Officejet Pro 8500A Plus e-All-in-One HP Officejet 6500A, HP OfficeJet 6500A Plus and Officejet 7500A Wide Format e-All-in-one, users can print web content such as templates and stored documents without a PC by using HP print apps, and they can also print from any mobile device anywhere in the world. Admin teams can set up a ‘white list’ so that only specific users can send in mobile print commands; essentially, HP is enabling users to take the PC out of the printing equation. Also, for the first time, HP business users can print web content such as templates and stored documents without a PC by using HP print apps.
