Highbar Technologies To Offer SAP ERP On The Cloud

Highbar Technologies Ltd. (a 100% subsidiary of the Hindustan Construction Company Ltd.) has entered into a tie-up with SAP, the ERP company, to launch Highbar CloudConnect, which offers SAP’s Business All-in-One solution, specially designed to address the needs of the infrastructure and real estate industries. The solution is aimed predominantly at the SME segment and joint ventures companies in the sector.

Highbar CloudConnect has been customised to address the unique requirements of the infrastructure and real estate industry, such as project planning and execution, procurement and sub-contracting, project billing, equipment procurement, utilisation and maintenance, document controlling, land acquisition, sales, leasing, post-sales handling, etc in addition to regular corporate functions such as accounting, finance, HR and payroll, costing, etc. These multiple offerings will enable the industry to have a wider choice, making it possible to take an informed decision based on their specific needs and requirements.

Highbar is the partner for the engineering, construction and operations industry for Business All-in-One solution on cloud, SAP will provide licenses on pay per user per month basis and all the necessary support.

“Cloud computing as a concept has been around for a while and is gaining acceptance across globe rapidly. However, there are no specific enterprise solutions on cloud for infrastructure and real estate sectors. In India there are a few thousand companies in SME sector, and it is estimated that the cloud market for ERP in intended segment itself can be in the range of Rs. 600 Crores annually, which will grow to Rs. 900 Crores annually in 5 years,” said Satish Pendse, President, Highbar Technologies Ltd.
