Micronet has announced its new Advanced High-Port Density VoIP Gateways for Enterprises. Micronet SP5008 / SP5018 / SP5058 / SP5004P VoIP gateways are designed to meet enterprises requirement in high-port density: 4 FXS + 4 PSTN, 8 FXS, 4FXS + 4 FXO, 8FXO. SP5008/ SP5018/ SP5058 connect with legacy PBX to deploy internal voice communication among multiple sites or implementation of IP contact centre.
The key features of SP5008 are that it supports dual protocols: SIP and H.323 co-existing and provide 8 RJ-11 FXS ports supporting G.711A/μ-law, G.723.1, G.726 and G.729 codes with 4 service registrations. It is extensible by external IVR/CDR/Billing servers supporting the outbound proxy and STUN for NAT traversal and also provide VPN capability (PPTP / L2TP client) for secured Internet access and voice communication with router functions and firewall security and also supports QoS by setting ToS (Type of Service) parameters of VoIP Packets.
The Features of SP5018 are same as that of SP5008 but has the minor difference like it has 4 RJ-11 FXS port for phone set or PBX´s trunk line and the management has build-in watching dog for auto recovery. The Features of sp5058 are the same features as that of SP5008 but has a minor difference of having the inference of 4 RJ-45 10/100M ports but the FXO Port is same. The Features of SP5004P is same as that of SP5008 but has the minor difference of having interface providing 4RJ-11 port for PSTN lifeline and 4 RJ-45 ports of 10/100M for 1 WAN and 3 LAN connection.
