Hexaware Chooses Fluensee AssetTrack Solution

IT and BPO service provider Hexaware Technologies has chosen RFID solutions vendor Fluensee as its partner to offer a range of RFID-enabled solutions for its global customers.

Hexaware has set up a Center of Excellence (CoE) on RFID for this purpose and will be deploying Fluensee AssetTrack at the facility to manage its IT inventory.

Fluensee AssetTrack is a RFID-enabled software solution that allows companies to improve asset visibility and security.

According to Fluensee, the software identifies deviations from expected asset location or condition and triggers exception-based alerts or specific warning notifications, thus delivering security and control over enterprise assets.

It can be integrated with existing operational systems to provide timely and comprehensive information on the state, condition and location of assets and their utilization within the business. AssetTrack can be implemented on a stand-alone basis or easily interfaced to existing systems as required.

Commenting on the initiative, P K Sridharan, executive director of Hexaware stated, “With Fluensee’s solution, Hexaware and our customers will benefit from the power of RFID. Hexaware believes that RFID technology would power many key solutions in transportation and supply chain management solutions.”

Upon completing the deployment, Hexaware will roll out AssetTrack in several of its other locations in India.
