Fortinet, the high-performance network security solutions provider, has announced that it has appointed Jason Nadar as the National Sales Manager for Wireless Technologies in India and SAARC. This appointment is a key prong of Fortinet’s strategy to increase its share in the Wireless Appliances market in India.
Fortinet offers strong value proposition in wireless LAN security by unifying the LAN connectivity and security for both wired and wireless networks. The Fortinet approach is to apply to the network a common authentication mechanism along with a standard set of policies and controls that determine the level of access users are granted, regardless of the access method they use. The result is a comprehensive end-to-end security architecture, with tight integration between the FortiGate Wireless Controllers and the FortiAP Access Points, which enables complete visibility and control of all clients on the network.

A 20-year industry veteran, Nadar has held various senior positions at Aruba Networks, 3Com, Ingram Micro and Frontier. He has a valuable network of industry contacts and thorough knowledge of sales, channel and support functions in the wireless and security spaces.
