ERP-Link and KnowledgeLake have signed a partnership agreement to integrate and jointly promote KnowledgeLake document imaging and capture technologies for Microsoft Office SharePoint Server 2007 Enterprise Content Management (ECM) solutions with ERP-Link software for providing SAP content to Microsoft services and applications.
Now customers can use MOSS2007 as an SAP ArchiveLink-based ECM or document management solution for ‘inside SAP’ business processes, and also create SharePoint applications to capture, connect, and manage both structured and unstructured content and data that is integrated with their SAP environments. The ERP-Link iNet.DM software is SAP-certified for ArchiveLink and now expanded document capture, workflow, and management capability can be implemented for SAP environments utilising the KnowledgeLake SharePoint ECM software.
With iNet.DM and KnowledgeLake’s SharePoint ECM solutions, enterprises benefit from seamless access to SAP business processes and data, as well as unstructured data such as paper documents, electronic files, e-mail, drawings and graphics, contracts, and so on. ERP-Link iNet.DM software uses the SAP ArchiveLink facility to automatically link incoming and outgoing business documents to specific SAP enterprise objects and processes, which are then stored in SharePoint/MOSS2007. ERP-Link customers use iNet software for SAP document-centric processes such as Invoice Processing, HR Records Management, Plant Maintenance, and for content management functions such as records management, SAP data and DART archival, plus SAP Solutions Manager-based project team sites.
“Because we at ERP-Link are seeing more interest in incorporating SAP environments into Microsoft-based document management solutions, we’re pleased to welcome KnowledgeLake to the growing number of vendors who are incorporating the iNet SAP-Microsoft interoperability platform into their software solutions,” said Eric Anderson, president of ERP-Link Corp. “This partnership means that customers deploying enterprise content management applications will benefit from KnowledgeLake’s experience and ERP-Link’s ability to make it easy to integrate SAP environments with Microsoft SharePoint.”
