Edimax Launches The World's Smallest 3G Router In India

Edimax Technology, the world’s leading provider of advanced network communication and IP surveillance products,today announced the launch of the world’s smallest 3G router in India, the Edimax 3G-6200nL 150Mbps Wireless 3G Compact Router.

The Edimax 3G-6200nL is a compact and powerful wireless 3G router that supports 3G/3.5G connection speeds of up to 7.2Mbps. By connecting either a 3G or 3.5G USB modem card to this miniature broadband router, all the devices in the network can share the Internet connection. The built-in Ethernet WAN port also allows you to use it with an xDSL or cable modem. Users with both kinds of Internet services will enjoy the router’s connection fail-over function, which allows the router to automatically switch to the cable/xDSL connection when 3G/3.5G Internet access is not available.

This Edimax wireless router is a high-speed solution that complies with IEEE 802.11b/g/n standards. The latest wireless MIMO (multiple-input and multiple-output) technology is built into this router to broaden its Wi-Fi coverage and to eliminate dead spots within the signal range. When it is connected to IEEE 802.11n wireless devices, this Edimax wireless router can reach Wi-Fi speeds of up to 150Mbps.
